Submission Guidelines for Authors

The Journal of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Insights (JBPI) welcomes the submission of high-caliber research manuscripts, including original experimental studies, comprehensive literature reviews, technical notes, and clinical case reports. We also consider invited editorials and perspectives that contribute to the evolution of the medical and pharmaceutical sciences.

Fundamental Requirements:

Every submission must be the original work of the authors and must not have been previously published or be currently under evaluation by another periodical. Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes a preliminary administrative review followed by a rigorous blind peer-review process to confirm its scientific validity, ethical compliance, and thematic alignment with the journal's mission.

Language and File Specifications:
All manuscripts must be written in clear, professional English. Files should be provided in a compatible digital format, specifically Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).

Organization of the Manuscript:
Authors should arrange their work in a logical sequence to facilitate clarity. A standard submission generally includes the following elements:

  • Identification: A comprehensive Title Page and a concise Abstract (summarizing objectives and findings).
  • Core Content: Relevant Keywords, Introduction, Experimental Methods (Materials and Procedures), and a detailed Results section.
  • Interpretation: An analytical Discussion, a definitive Conclusion, and necessary Acknowledgments.
  • Disclosures: Explicit statements regarding Potential Conflicts of Interest and Source of Funding.
  • Documentation: A complete list of References, accompanied by properly captioned Tables and Figures.

Technical Formatting Standards

To maintain a uniform aesthetic across our publication, authors are requested to adhere to the following layout specifications:

  • Typography: Please utilize a 12-point Times New Roman font for the main body of the text.
  • Spacing & Layout: Manuscripts should be set with 1.5 line spacing and a 2.5 cm margin on all sides of an A4-sized page.
  • Pagination: All pages must be numbered sequentially from the title page to the final reference.

Citation and Bibliographic Style:

JBPI utilizes the APA 7th Edition format for all in-text citations and the final bibliography. It is mandatory to include active DOI (Digital Object Identifier) links for all referenced sources where available to assist in cross-linking research.

Ethical Compliance:

Contributors are responsible for obtaining all necessary institutional ethical approvals for studies involving human participants or animal subjects. Furthermore, the corresponding author must confirm that the final version of the manuscript has been reviewed and approved by all co-authors.

Licensing Agreement:

Work published in JBPI is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) framework. This allows for the broad sharing and adaptation of research, provided the original authorship is accurately acknowledged.

Article Processing & Submission Charges

Current Economic Policy:

We do not impose any manuscript processing charges (APC) or submission fees. This policy is designed to encourage the submission of high-quality research from diverse global regions.
