Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Insights (JBPI) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics.

All manuscripts submitted to JBPI are screened for plagiarism before the peer-review process. The journal uses plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or equivalent tools to assess the originality of submitted work.

Authors are required to submit original manuscripts that have not been published previously and are not under consideration by any other journal.

The following practices are considered unethical and are not acceptable:

• Direct plagiarism
• Self-plagiarism
• Duplicate publication
• Data fabrication or falsification
• Improper citation of sources
• Unauthorized use of copyrighted material

Manuscripts found to contain significant plagiarism may be rejected immediately. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the article and notify the authors' institutions if necessary.

The acceptable similarity index should generally not exceed 20%, excluding references, quotations, and standard methodological descriptions.

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and for properly acknowledging all sources used in the preparation of their manuscripts.

JBPI follows international publication ethics guidelines and reserves the right to take appropriate action in cases of suspected academic misconduct.
