A Review on Natural Herbal as Anticancer Drug

This project has been made to review some medicinal plants used as anticancer drugs. Herbal drugs having vital role in treatment of cancer. Many of the classes of phytochemicals in herbal medicines are finding therapeutic use. Individual herbal medicine shows antipyruvatic, analgesic, anti- inflammatory and anticancer effect.
Now a day’s medicinal plants have become the best source of drug discovery. India is the largest producer of medicinal plants and is rightly called as the botanical garden of the world. The herbal drugs are easily available, cheaper and posses no toxicity as compared to other drugs. The current focus is on what are Cancer and Herbal Anticancer drugs which means the plants used in the treatment of the cancer.
In the past few years, there has been no exponential growth in the field of herbal medicine and these drugs are gaining popularity both in developing and developed countries because of their natural origin and less side effect. Many traditional medicines in use are derived from medicinal plants, minerals and organic matter. This review will discuss the herbal anticancer drugs with pharmacognostic account.
